GUIDELINES FOR PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS

  • You must accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and live your life in pursuit of His will (John 3:5-8).
  • Accept the Holy Scriptures as the Word of God, and as the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16,17).
  • Maintain a Christ-honoring life-style.  Because your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (Romans 6:1-4, 12:1,2; 2 Corinthians 6:14-17).
  • Grow in Grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus (1 Peter 3:18) through personal prayer and Bible reading, as well as the services and sacraments of the church.
  • Be a witness of Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit promoting His salvation to a lost world (Acts 1:8).
  • Seek to reach unity and maturity in the faith (Ephesians 4:13) attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
  • Be willing to use God-given gifts and talents in ministry under the supervision of the Holy Spirit and the leadership of the church (1 Corinthians 12:4-7).
